This route starts and finishes outside the Summer Wine Tap room in Honley, West Yorkshire just off the New Mill road, so there’s a great pint waiting at the end of the cycle.
The road quality is very good, I assume some of this is due to the Tour du Yorkshire. The scenery is breathtaking and it finishes with a climb up to Holme Moss.
Some of the villages the route goes through are: Farnley Tyas, Stocksmoor, Millhouse Green, Upper Midhope, over the Strines around Broomhead Reservoir and back to Holme Moss and eventually Honley for a drink where Summer Wine Tap room have an amazing selection of craft ales to drink.
