This circular route can be started anywhere on the route. I start at Hyde heath and go clockwise.
From Hyde Heath go down Bray’s Lane and left off road through Bray’s wood, across Keepers Lane and along the top of Lott’s wood and across the unnamed road into the next wood and on towards the Amersham rugby club onto Copperkins lane. Cycle across Chesham Bois Common and down Chestnut Lane, along Quill hall lane, eventually turning right just passed Jewsons yard and before Raan’s road going off road.
Follow the bridle path across Bell lane over Stony lane to Chenies Manor, take the path next to Chenies manor and turn right down Claypit’s lane and cross the main Amersham road and go down the bridle path sign posted ‘The Chiltern Way’. Follow this route across Burtons lane onto Chalfont lane and turn right onto Shire lane, follow the chiltern way and go through Phillips hill wood onto Nightingales Lane and down into Chalfont St Giles.
At Chalfont St Giles go up upassed Miltons house abd after 2 miles at the top and turn right onto a bridle. path which will take you into Hodgemoor woods. Follow the GPX though the woods down and across the Amersham road. As you enter Magpie lane, turn left onto a small lane and take this up to the top and go through Great Beard’s wood and eventually onto Gravelly way.
At the junction of Common wood lane, turn right onto the footpath and take it up into Penn house and along passed the Hit or Miss Pub on Penn street. Follow the GPX into Penn woods and eventually across the Amersham road to Toby’s Lane. Follow this down into Little Missenden. Turn right and go onto the South Bucks Way, after about a 500 yards turn left onto Mop end lane and across the A413 and go up the road without a name.
At the top of Lott’s wood turn left and go through Lott’s Wood across Keepers lane and through Bray’s wood and back to Hyde Heath.
